I'm so excited to kick off February with a great blogger from Orange County, Analisa from Rouge Fox. She is by far one of my favorite fashion bloggers. She has impeccable taste. Her style is always so sweet but kicked up a notch with some edginess. Analisa must be one of the sweetest people I've ever had the pleasure of
Furthermore, I don't think I could be more jealous of Analisa's amazing pictures. They have this ethereal sheen to them. If there was an award for most photogenic blogger she would for sure take the prize.
Hi, Eternal Optimist readers! My name is Analisa and I own a personal style diary/inspirational outlet called Rouge Fox. I'm so thrilled to be able to partake in Ly's wonderful little segment, "Blog Around the States!"
One of the many things I love about living in California is the easy access to the variety of thrift stores we have around here, some of my local favorites including the obvious Goodwills and Salvation Armys in wealthier cities (more designer finds for cheap!), fashion-forward resellers such as Crossroads and Wasteland, vintage shops in Orange County's old towne districts, and the hidden gems that can be found throughout the East L.A. area (Silverlake, Echo Park, Eagle Rock, etc.).
In this post are just a few of my favorite thrift finds with each piece costing no more than $10--a classic top I found at the Buffalo Exchange in Downtown Fullerton, a macrame belt I found in a random pit-stop while on a desert roadtrip last summer, a silky shirt that I found at Jet Rag Vintage's $1 Sunday sale on Melrose (and DIY'ed cutout shoulders), a belt that goes with everything from the boy's section at the warehouse-sized Goodwill in Santa Ana, and my favorite worn-out Levi cutoffs from Squaresville in Los Feliz. Thanks, Ly, for including me in your feature! :)
